How the first call works

In 30–45 minutes we pin down scope, bench or validation goal, the measurement chain you already have, and the next useful step. You speak with Nils Flagmeier — not an account team. Typical output: a clear recommendation on whether automation, ECE R100 evidence, J1939 integration or a validation strategy is the bottleneck, plus a rough effort. Remote or in Berlin; on-site at the bench once devices, safety and data handling are concrete. If the bottleneck is sequence architecture, we usually start with a narrow prototype on one device — not a tool shopping list.

What teams hire us for

  • Test bench automation

Turn a manual climate chamber, source/sink and BMS CAN into reproducible sequences — with restart logic, limits and auto-reporting. Practice: the test bench automation case study, eight weeks to productive.

  • HV validation and ECE R100

Translate requirements into testable cases and traceability so releases do not stall on missing evidence. Electrical safety, IEC 62619 and UN 38.3 sit in the same evidence frame.

  • J1939 and BMS integration

What works on the desk, verified in vehicle or HiL context: timing, diagnostics, fault scenarios and logging that survives reviews.

Berlin, DACH, on-site at the bench

flagmeier.engineering is an offering of Cevelar Technologies UG (haftungsbeschränkt), registered at Kolonnenstraße 8 in Berlin. Typical coverage is Bavaria, southern Germany and DACH — plus remote work on specs, sequence architecture and report pipelines. International mandates by agreement. You do not need a dedicated Berlin lab: we come to your bench or work with your lab team once safety, access and data handling are clear.

What helps in the first conversation

Useful, not mandatory: a rough spec or OEM document, a device and interface list (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, RS232), whether reports must be audit-ready, and whether a certification path (ECE R100, UN 38.3, IEC 62619) sets the pace. If that is missing, we structure it on the call. Form, phone or calendar — same inbox.
